Chaldean Numerology is one of the oldest forms of number mysticism in recorded history, originating in ancient Babylon (modern-day Iraq) over 4,000 years ago. The Chaldeans were a priestly class of scholars renowned for their mastery of astronomy, astrology, and esoteric sciences.
Unlike later systems, Chaldean Numerology was not invented — it was observed. They studied the relationship between the sounds of letters, the vibrations produced when spoken, and the events that occurred in the lives of people carrying those letter combinations.

In Chaldean philosophy, 9 is the number of the Divine — completion, universal love, the infinite. Assigning it to a human letter would diminish its sacred nature.
